Freelance collaboration – Mechanical Service
Ultratec GmbH is a specialized service and spare parts provider for flatbed die-cutters and Flexo printing machines, based in Switzerland. With over 35 years of industry experience, we support our customers throughout Europe in keeping their production running reliably and efficiently.
We are now looking to expand our network of qualified service technicians and are seeking a self-employed professional to collaborate with us on a freelance basis.
Your Role
- Mechanical assembly and subassembly work on flatbed die-cutting and Flexo printing machines
- Maintenance, troubleshooting, and functional testing on-site and in the workshop
- Fluid and pneumatic system work (installation, servicing)
- Startup and commissioning of refurbished or modified equipment
- Technical assessment and documentation of service findings
Your Profile
- Completed training as a mechanic, mechatronics technician, or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience in mechanical service or assembly
- Ability to identify technical risks and propose improvements to optimize machine performance
- Familiar with standard tools and procedures in mechanical repair and retrofitting
- Fluent in German or English (additional languages are a plus)
